BGC Youth Programs currently being offered at the RVYC are FREE!

After School Program:

RVYC After School Programming will run Monday to Friday at varying times based on the specific program taking place. Youth looking to attend most programs will be between grade 5-8 and will have the opportunity to participate in life changing programs that will enhance their skills, quality of life, and provide them with opportunities they may not find outside our walls.

Youth Evening Programs:

These programs will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings from 6:30pm – 9:00pm for in-person programming. Youth will be expected to follow all COVID-19 guidelines while attending programming.

Youth Leadership

A program for pre-teens aimed to support the development of leadership skills, self-esteem, and community involvement. 

Creative Corner

Creativity is a one of the 5 key pillars of learning for BGC. Through this program, young people will be able to explore and express their creativity. This program promotes a strong sense of self, confidence, and artisitc abilities.

Brilliant Labs/STEM

Brilliant Labs: Providing youth thee opportunity to have access to new technologies and programming to create, innovate and inspire a future that offers sustainable growth in community and social/environmental entrepreneurialism. 

Youth Entrepreneurship

Youth Entrepreneurship: Allowing young people every opportunity to explore the world of self sustaining business strategy, while working to help future leaders in business succeed and meet their goals. 

Youth Games Night

Games Night: A fun, safe, and supportive space for young people to come and connect with one another while playing fun, interactive games with our staff!

Cooking with Bev

A volunteer-run cooking program for Grades K-8. Participants learn the basics of teamwork, kitchen safety, and how to prepare a full holiday meal in a competition-style setting. 

Wellness

Exploring and learning about the day-to-day necessities of mental and physical well-being for middle school aged youth. 

Homework Help

A drop-in space where middle school aged youth can come to seek help with schoolwork, from BGC staff members and mentors that they know and trust.
