Home to a 50 spot After School Program and free Evening Program at South End Community Centre.
The South End Community Center is a joint project of the federal, provincial and municipal governments. Under the neighborhood improvement program the center officially opened its doors on November 28, 1978. It has since then changed hands from the City of Saint John and now operates under The Boys and Girls Club of Saint John.
The center offers three free structured programs; after-school, evening and summer, all focused on providing young people with a foundation for building assets. Programs are developed and run by dedicated, enthusiastic staff who are focused to inspire!
Along with daily homework and reading club is included, Children play in the gym and join in organized sports.
We hope ‘Level Up’ will give them the tools to develop into well rounded individuals who see success and continue to persevere when faced with adversity.
