Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, BGC will be offering all Youth Evening Programming online & will provide technology supports to Club Members who may be in need for participation purposes. Torch Club
Torch Club: A program for pre-teens aimed to support the development of leadership skills and self-esteem. A great precursor for Keystone.
Keystone
Keystone: A leadership development program for youth to make positive change in their lives and communities. Keystone allows youth to participate in a variety of community based volunteer activities to help bolster their CV.
Junior Police Academy
Junior Police Academy: JPA offers young people the opportunity to explore the exciting world of policing. Through this program, youth will learn the importance of dedication, committment to safety, and work towards becoming a future leader in protection. This will be a Year 2 registration round, and members will only be able to participate if they did last year.
Youth Art Club
Youth Art Club: Creativity is a one of the 5 key pillars of learning for BGC. Through this virtual program, young people will be able to explore and express their creativity. This program promotes a strong sense of self, confidence, and artisitc abilities.
Flex Your Head
Flex Your Head: Flex Your Head is a virtual program offered with BGC that allows youth the chance to participate in a supportive program aimed at boosting mental health rates in our city.
Kid Tech Nation
Kid Tech Nation: A program created to teach kids digital literacy skills, coding concepts, and computational thinking.
Kid Food Nation
An initiative designed to help kids develop food literacy skills through an 8-week cooking program. With the aim of promoting healthier, happier lifestyles.
Bounce Back League
Our new trauma-informed sports program aims to improve the physical and mental health of Club members by combining organized sport with the power of being part of a team. Using cutting-edge clinical and academic trauma-informed approaches, the program equips kids to better handle the ups and downs of life.
Teen Trivia Night with Jill Farrar
Come and hang out with the one and only, Jill Farrar for Teen Trivia Night. This program offers a free, supportive space for teens to come and connect with one another while playing a variety of trivia games!
