Here For Good Campaign

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our most ambitious fundraising initiative yet — the Here For Good campaign. Our aim is to raise $1.25 million to support the families, children, and youth who will shape the future of our Saint John community over the next decade.

For over 125 years, BGC Greater Saint John has served as the foundation of childhood support in the Saint John area. As we embark on this new chapter, we will enhance our programming capabilities, enabling us to continue offering barrier-free assistance to children and youth in Saint John.

The pillars of our campaign

Our campaign is founded on four fundamental pillars, each vital for reaching our ambitious objectives:

Individual Giving
Goal of 25k over 5 years

A direct marketing campaign is designed to inspire donor engagement by presenting three flexible
ways to give: one-time donations, monthly contributions, and legacy gifts.

Using a multi-channel approach—including direct mail, email, and digital outreach—the campaign will
deliver a compelling message that emphasizes the impact of each giving option.

  • One-time gifts: Immediate contributions that address urgent needs.
  • Monthly giving: A reliable, ongoing way to sustain critical programs.
  • Legacy giving: A meaningful opportunity to create a
    lasting impact through estate planning.

The campaign will incorporate personalized messaging, storytelling, and clear calls to action.

Board Giving Challenge

Goal of 100k over 5 years

The BGC Board Giving Challenge is an interactive challenge designed to engage board members in philanthropic giving. Board Members past, present and future will be asked to help raise $100,000 over the next 5 years through personal, corporate, or special event giving.
